What is weBatch?

weBatch is an online tool to manage BroadWorks in bulk. You export the settings of users, devices and services, edit them in Excel or straight in the table, and import them again. Before anything changes, you see exactly what is going to happen.

Which platforms does weBatch work with?

weBatch works with BroadWorks through the official provisioning interface (OCI-P), such as at KPN EEN and Connext. You log in with your own BroadWorks administrator account at group or enterprise level.

Does weBatch work with KPN EEN and Connext?

Yes. KPN EEN and Connext run on BroadWorks. If you have an administrator account there, you connect to it in weBatch and manage users, devices and services in bulk with Excel or CSV.

Are my BroadWorks login details stored?

No. Your BroadWorks login is only kept, encrypted, for as long as your session lasts, so that larger bulk jobs can run. It is erased when you log out or after inactivity.

What is a group and when does it count?

A group is a BroadWorks group, usually the phone system of one customer. As soon as you work with a group, it uses one place in your plan. After six months without use that place is released automatically.

Can I work with several colleagues?

Yes. As an administrator you add colleagues yourself in weBatch Provisioning. With MKB five users can be connected to BroadWorks at the same time, with Enterprise that is unlimited.

Can I manage BroadWorks with Excel or CSV?

Yes. You export settings in bulk to Excel (.xlsx) or CSV with semicolons, edit them and import the file again. Files and templates from the previous version of weBatch keep working: columns are recognised by name.

Can I make a backup of a BroadWorks phone system?

Yes. You capture the full configuration of a phone system in a backup. The last five backups per phone system are kept. You can download them and compare them with each other, so you see what changed between two moments. Passwords are not part of a backup.

Can I move a customer to a new phone system (migration)?

Yes. For such a migration you make a backup of the old phone system, connect to the new one and choose that backup. weBatch puts old and new side by side. Then you choose the new domain, the new numbers, the device types and the licences, and weBatch transfers everything in the right order. Where the old phone system used SIP authentication, weBatch creates new passwords.

Is my website account the same as my weBatch login?

Yes. With one account you log in to this website and to weBatch Provisioning. When you are logged in on the website, the “To Provisioning” button takes you straight there.

Is the app available in English?

This website is available in Dutch and English. The app, weBatch Provisioning, and the emails we send are in Dutch for now. The names of the parts are those of BroadWorks, so they are in English.

Is two-step verification mandatory?

Yes. Because you make changes at your customers with weBatch, every account uses two-step verification with an authenticator app, such as Microsoft or Google Authenticator.

How does invoicing work?

You receive an invoice by email every month. All prices exclude VAT. When ordering you agree to the monthly payment.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes. Upgrading (more groups or Enterprise) is done in your account; we apply that change after confirmation. For fewer groups or a smaller plan, contact us. Cancelling has a notice period of one month; until that date you can keep using weBatch as usual.

Do you offer custom work?

Yes. Do you have a specific challenge or are you missing a part? Get in touch and we will see what is possible.
